Theaters,radio,TV and internet are all the places where people can enjoy music.There are quite a few theaters all over the town and they are still playing a very important role in nowadays entertainment.

Young people use internet more to download for their Ipot,MP3 players while seniors would listen to radio more and they go to theater more often than the younger generations.

In general,the music one listened in his or her childhood would.

Music is another language to a certain degree and if children can expose to the first language (mothertongue) as early as he was born,I cannot see the reason why they cannot expose themselves to music.Many evidences show that children with early music education,even as early as they were fetuses in mom's belly,would grow smarter.
