Two unemploy men,Len and Ted,were sitting in a restaurant drinking tea.
Outside,on the opposite side of the road,there was a bank .A scurity guard was standing outside the bank.
Len stood up."I must go,"he side."I'll see you tomorrow
"O.K."Ted said."I'll be here."
Len walked out of the restaurant and crossd the road.then he walked up to the security guard,said somthing to him and ran off as fast as he could.
The security guard was very angry and he ran after Len shouting at him.
"Come back here!How dare you insult me!"he shouted,but Len kept on running.
The security guard could not catch him and he was soon out of sight.
Still angry the security guard hurried back to his position outside the bank.
The next day Len came into the resaurant.Ted was already there.he sat next to him and ordered some tea.
Ted said,"Yesterday,I saw you go up to the security guard,say something to him and run off.he was very angry and ran after you."
"That's right,"Len said."I called him a fat-faced idiot.he was really angry."
"Why did you do that?"Ted asked.
"I'm going to rob the bank today,"Len said."I wanted to find out how fast he could run."
15.The Cheater
Donald was not very good at math.
He could not understand the teather's explanations.
Even when the teather explained something a second time,Donald still could not understand it.
"Never mind,"Donald told himself."I'm quite good at other subjects.I'll cheat in the math exam,the I won't be in trouble.
"I'll sit next to the boy who's best at math,"he thought,"and copy down his answers."
The day of the exam came,and Donald sat next to Brian Smith,who always was at the top of the class in math.
Donald carefully copied Brian's answers on to his own exam paper.]
At the end of the exam ,the teacher collected the papers and graded them.
Then she said,"Well,boy and girls ,I've decided to give a prize to the student who got the highest grade.It's difficult for me to decide who to give the prize to,however,because two students,Donald and Brian,got the same grade."
"Let thenm share it,"one of the other student said.
"I've thought about that,"the teacher said,"but I've decided to give the prize to Brian."
Donald was angry when he heard this.
He stood up and said,"That's not fair .I got the same grade as Brian."
"That's true,"the teacher said."However,Brian's answer to Question 18 was‘I don't know.’yours was ‘Neither do I.’"

LEN和TED两个事业人士正坐在一餐厅里面喝茶.餐厅对面马路是一间银行,银行门口站着一个警卫.
LEN站起来说:"我必须走了,明天见吧."
TED说:"好的.我明天还会在这里."
说完LEN就走出了餐厅横过马路,朝着那警卫走去.在他跟那警卫说了些什么后,就拼命的跑.而警卫呢非常生气的追着他,对他大喊:"你给我回来!竟敢这样侮辱我."但LEN依然继续跑,并不管他.
警卫追不上LEN,LEN很快就消失在警卫的视线里面.警卫带着怒气回到了银行门口.
第二天当LEN走进餐厅的时候RED已经在那里了,他坐到TED的旁边并叫了杯茶.
TED说:"昨天我看见你走向那警卫跟他说了些话然后就拼命的跑,那警卫非常生气的在后面追着你."
LEN说:"是啊`我说他是一个大胖子大白痴,他当然生气拉."
"你为什么这样做呢?"TED问.
"我今天打算打劫银行.我想知道他到底能跑多快."
15.作弊者
DONALD的数学并不怎么好.
他听不明白老师的解说,即使老师第二次重复解说,他也不能理解明白.
他对自己说:"没关系,我其他科目都很好,只要数学考试的时候我作弊就没问题了."他想:只要到时候坐到数学最好的那人旁边,抄下他的答案就行了.
考试的那天到了,DONALD坐在数学经常考最好的BRIAN SMITH 旁边.
DONALD很小心的把BRAIN的答案抄到自己的试卷上.
考试结束后老师把试卷收起并批改了.然后她说:"同学们,我决定颁一个奖给考最高分的那个同学,但我很难决定颁给谁好,因为DONALD和BRIAN两个都考到了一样的成绩.
有个同学就说:"颁给他们两个,让他们一起分享吧."
老师说:"我也考虑过那样做,但我还是决定给BRIAN."
DONALD听了很生气,站起来说:"这不公平!我跟BRIAN是一样的分."
老师说:"没错是,但BRIAN在第18题的答案是"我不知道",而你的答案是"我也是(不知道)".
