几只快要饿死的狗看到些牛皮浸泡在河中.因为够不着,就一致同意喝干河水,可是当它们喝到肚子胀得再也喝不下去时,牛皮依然远不可及.
寓意：不要试做不可能的事.
今天我想说说“不可能的事”.什么是不可能的事?圣经明确地告诉我们天主是万能的,当我们做天主要我们做的事,主会与我们同在,没有什么事是做不到的,即万事都是可能的.天主是万物的创造者,天主所造的一切都是好的,但天主不支配人的意志.只有当我们自觉自愿完完全全地服从天主的意志,我们的心灵才会得到慰藉和满足,才能成功；相反,悖逆天主,按照自己的欲念一意孤行,就难免会失败,即是在尝试“不可能的事”.
英文原文： The Dogs and the Hides
SOME DOGS famished with hunger saw a number of cowhides steeping in a river. Not being able to reach them, they agreed to drink up the river, but it happened that they burst themselves with drinking long before they reached the hides.
